【講解】

autograph n. [ C ]（名人的）親筆簽名。= a signature, especially of a famous person

補(bǔ)充autograph v. [ T ]在...上親筆簽名。= to write your signature。場景句Could you autograph your book for me, please?能否幫我在您寫的書上簽名？

【例句】

Did you get his autograph?

你得到他的親筆簽名了嗎？

I got her to autograph my T-shirt.

2.by all means

【翻譯】等進(jìn)賬了，拜托你狠狠炒了我們，使勁炒。

【場景】Caroline對Han回復(fù)說，大概因?yàn)樗齻円�有一筆數(shù)額大的錢進(jìn)賬外加一部屬于自己的電影，讓Han有些吃醋了吧。Max補(bǔ)充，如果談及失業(yè)，現(xiàn)在還不能炒了她們，等錢到了再說。

【講解】

by all means （表示許可）好的，當(dāng)然可以。= used to give permission

補(bǔ)充by no means決不，一點(diǎn)都不 =not at all。這兩個詞組都是by...means的形式，詞義需要注意下。

“我可以借這本書嗎？”“當(dāng)然可以。”

It is by no means certain that we'll finish the project by June.
